Featured Speakers:

Dan Poynter - NSA Colorado Featured SpeakerDan Poynter:

Writing Your Nonfiction Book

Writing nonfiction books is hard work—unless you have a plan. Finding time to write is a challenge—unless you can do two things at once. Many people have the ingredients to be successful, published authors, Dan Poynter supplies the recipe.

Dan shares his organizational approach to writing a nonfiction book. He describes shortcuts that eliminate many of the traditional steps to creating the book. You will discover how to qualify the project, research on the Net, organize the project, draft the content and convert it into a PDF file for a literary agent or printing. He will show you how to embellish your book and make it more readable with sources for illustrations, quotations, stories and resources. How to set up and build your book rather than just write it.

Dan Poynter is an author of more than 120 books, has been a publisher since 1969 and is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). His seminars have been featured on CNN, his books have been pictured in The Wall Street Journal and his story has been told in US News & World Report.

Dan is an author and he is a publisher. One of the pioneers of modern self-publishing, he has experienced every phase of the book publishing process. He has sold his manuscripts to other publishers, he has published other authors, he has published his own books and his books have been translated and published in six other languages.

He shares his message with audiences around the world because he does not want people to die with a book still inside them. He has your step-by-step plan.

You can make a difference and make a living with your book. A book will bring you more credibility, fame and a new profit center.

Daniel Hall - NSA CO Featured SpeakerDaniel Hall

Daniel Hall is just like you. Until he accidentally learned about cruise ship enrichment programs he had no idea that you could cruise free by giving onboard presentations or leading activities.

Fortunately, he learned the secrets of being approved by the cruise lines to cruise free. In fact, he was taking so many free cruises that friends and colleagues began to ask how he was able to do it. Because he was spending so much time explaining the process he finally decided to write it down. Eventually, that effort would become the critically acclaimed program "Speak on Cruise Ships"

In addition to cruise speaking Daniel has a wide array of interests, talents and achievements. For example, he holds degrees and licenses in both law and nursing, having graduated from Texas Tech University, School of Law and the University of Texas at El Paso, College of Nursing.

Currently, Daniel earns his living practicing law, speaking and running multiple online businesses. Daniel loves the sea and happily lives on Oso Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas with his wife, two sons, and a gorgeous black standard poodle named “Princess” .

During the meeting Daniel will reveal how-to …

  • Get free cruises for yourself
  • Get free cruises for your traveling companion
  • Get every passenger perk
  • Cruise anytime (almost) anywhere
  • Sell your products onboard
  • Create products from your onboard presentations
  • Turn your onboard presentations into profit streams
  • Get maximum promotional mileage out of the your cruise bookings

Elaine Dumler

Elaine Dumler is the author of 2 books, with a 3rd in progress, in the “I’m Already Home” series that shares connection strategies for military families in the midst of deployment separations. She needed her first book done, from start to finish, in weeks…not months…so she decided to self publish. She’s bucked the system, because of over 35,000 copies sold, few have been through bookstores – by choice. Today she’ll dovetail with what Dan Poynter teaches to show how she used his, and others “blueprints” to:

  • Challenge the myths of doing it yourself,

  • Select your editors, designers and printers and why your choice is critical,

  • Give you her entire resource list but only if you’re present,

  • Sell thousands of books at a time in non-traditional markets,

  • Tell you how she sells her books to people who don’t want them,

  • Give you her best, cheapest and quickest marketing ideas,

  • Use sponsors and donations to sell in a niche market and

  • How she “pre-sells” books to all attendees at every speaking engagement and still sells in the back of the room.
