The NSA Colorado Chapter bestows three types of awards upon its most deserving members.

• Honorary Lifetime Membership Award
• The Sabah Award
• Member Of The Year Award

The National Speakers Association grants two designations

• CSP - Certified Speaking Professional
• CPAE - Speaker Hall Of Fame® - Council Of Peers Award of Excellence

The Honorary Lifetime Service Award:

The Honorary Lifetime Service Award is bestowed upon deserving NSA/Colorado members exclusively at the discretion of the NSA/Colorado Board of Directors.

The Sabah Award:

The Sabah Award is named after the co-founders of NSA/Colorado (formerly Colorado Speakers Association), Joe and Judy Sabah. This award is given to a NSA/Colorado member for outstanding, consistent, and long-term contribution to NSA/Colorado. This award is given at the discretion of the, then, current president of NSA/Colorado.

Member Of The Year Award:

The Member of the Year Award is given to a NSA/Colorado member. It is nominated and voted upon annually by the members of the NSA/Colorado Chapter and is presented at the President's Gala. It is a peer recognition award for service and contribution to this chapter during that specific year.

The Scott Friedman Award:

Scott Friedman Award is named after the former NSA National President and twice former President of NSA/Colorado. The award is given to a NSA/Colorado member in recognition of his/her outstanding contribution in advancing the speaking profession. This award is given at the discretion of the, then, current president of NSA/Colorado.

Professional Designations

• CSP- Certified Speaking Professional: A description of the CSP designation and a list of NSA/Colorado Speakers who have earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association.
• CPAE - Council of Peers Award for Excellence: A description of the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame® Award and a list of NSA/Colorado members who have been selected to the National Speakers Association CPAE Speaker Hall Of Fame.
