Network for the Needy began in 1994 when hospitality organizations decided to work together toward the common goal of ending hunger in our community.  There is a competition among the 12 member organizations (MPI, PCMA, CSAE, etc.) of the Meetings Industry Council on who can raise the most money for the Food Bank of the Rockies.  There are 3 ways you can help NSA-CO win this competition and support this worthy cause.

1)    Attend the Network for the Needy Luncheon on Tuesday November 10, 2009 from Noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Denver Merchandise Mart.  Click here to register.  100 percent of the proceeds support the Food Bank.  With 500 attendees, it’s a great networking opportunity.

2)    Bring non perishable food items to the NSA-CO September & October meetings.  Just bring a bag of food to the meeting and we will make sure it gets to the Food Bank.

3)    Donate money at the NSA-CO September and October meeting or click here to donate if you are going to miss the meetings and can’t attend the event.  Every dollar you donate = 6lbs. of food!

Food Bank of the Rockies serves 312,000 people annually.
