It is nominated and voted upon annually by the members of the NSA/Colorado Chapter and is presented at the President’s Gala. It is a peer recognition award for service and contribution to this chapter during that specific year.

Note: If 5 people or more are nominated, a committee is convened to select 3 – 5 for voting. NSA National only allows for one MOTY, and so, it gets a bit messy to have two.

Lifetime Achievement / Lifetime Membership

Lifetime Achievement: The Lifetime Achievement Award, also known as Lifetime Member, is given in recognition of ongoing service and long – term contributions to the chapter. This award includes a lifetime membership in NSA – Colorado as long as the recipient maintains their Professional or Legacy membership with NSA National. Recipient is responsible for payment for all other events including chapter meetings and social events. Lifetime Members have the same member benefits as other professional members including voting privileges. The Lifetime Achievement Award may be submitted by the Chapter President for approval by the Nominating Committee with no more than one award to be granted each year. As with the Sabah Award and Friedman Award, this award may not be given out every year.
